疫情中的反思与勉励

昨日所分享的那意大利牧者的话，有一句话是他在两个报告里都有说的：我们的身体与灵魂，或生或死，都属于祂。这其实是来自荷兰改革宗的海德堡教理问答（Heidelberg Catechism）。有的牧者非常喜欢海德堡教理问答，因为它的第一问答尤其让人安慰，非常的美。这也为此教理问答定下其色调。我的朋友/同学王志勇牧师在他的翻译里如此介绍说：这个教理问答非常具有个人性和灵修性，贯彻始终的称谓就是单数性的代词“你”，这就使得这本书被上帝的子民成为“安慰之书”。今天，我们可以好好的反思这教理问答的第一问答（王志勇牧师的翻译）：

一问：你无论是生是死，唯一的安慰是什么？

回答：我无论是生是死，身体灵魂（2）皆非己有（1），而是属于我信实的救主耶稣基督（3）。他用宝血完全补偿了我一切的罪债（4），并且救我脱离了魔鬼的一切的权势（5）；因此，他保守我（6），若非天父允许，我的头发一根也不会掉下（7）；他叫万事互相效力，使我得救（8）。故此，他藉圣灵也使我有永生的确信（9），并且使我从此以后甘心乐意地为他而活（10）。

1Q.      What is your only comfort in life and in death?

A.    That I am not my own (1), but belong—body and soul, in life and in death (2)—to my faithful Savior, Jesus Christ (3). He has fully paid for all my sins with his precious blood (4), and has set me free from the tyranny of the devil (5). He also watches over me in such a way (6) that not a hair can fall from my head without the will of my Father in heaven (7); in fact, all things must work together for my salvation (8).

Because I belong to him, Christ, by his Holy Spirit, assures me of eternal life (9) and makes me wholeheartedly willing and ready from now on to live for him (10)
